Where Every Moment Is an Adventure!

Travel Documents:

Please check your e-tickets carefully for accuracy. Ensure that your dates are correct and that your name is spelled as it appears on your passport. Please notify Danielle at danielle@lorandus.com if there are any discrepancies. Please note that once issued, your airline ticket is nonrefundable.

Advanced Airline Check-In:

When possible, we recommend checking in online with your specific airline(s) 24 hours prior to departure. In some cases, this will not be possible. If this is the case, please allow a little extra time at the airport for check-in. If you would like to change your seating, this may also be done at time of check-in. Please review your e-tickets carefully for further instructions.

Airport Check-In:

Please ensure you arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to your flight departure time for domestic flights. Your passport is required for check-in. Due to increased airport security measures, please be sure to leave ample time for check-in as late arrival could result in denied boarding.

Documentation:

For Canadian citizens traveling within Canada, one piece of valid (not expired) government-issued photo ID that includes name, and date of birth. Fishing, hunting, and boating licenses will not be accepted. Passports are recommended.

Security & Baggage:

Please respect the safety regulations for all domestic flights. Knives, scissors, lighters, nail manicure sets, razors or any other sharp objects must be packed in your checked luggage. These items will not be allowed inside the plane cabin or in your carry-on baggage. Please refer to your specific airline for baggage restrictions and allowances. See the following webpage for a comprehensive list of security information for air travel.

About Travelling to Vancouver

  • In Vancouver, during September, you can typically expect daytime temperatures averaging between 16-18°C and nighttime temperatures around 11-13°C. Light rain showers are common during this period, adding to the city’s lush greenery and temperate climate.

  • Remember to pack or wear a solid shoe or boot (hiking shoes, etc.). On your group and individual experiences, you may be walking on uneven surfaces.  Flipflops or summer shoes are not recommended while you are on your excursions, and a waterproof jacket is a good bet!

Tips for Travel

  • To avoid wrinkled clothing, pack cotton and polyester blends – they wrinkle less than 100 percent cotton. You can also reduce wrinkles by leaving your clothes in the plastic bags dry cleaners use.
  • If you carry prescription medications, keep them in the original labeled containers and pack them in your carry-on luggage. Please ensure you have a note from your doctor to acknowledge that you are taking certain medications. Your doctor or pharmacist should also provide you with a list of your medications, including the drug’s generic name (brand names may not be the same worldwide). Keep the name and phone numbers of your doctor and/ or pharmacist handy. Customs agents can be very suspicious of unidentified pills.
  • Take photocopies of your passport and health card in case it is lost or stolen while traveling. You may want to leave a copy at home with a spouse, significant other, friend or family member.
